Recently, A.L. Construction was selected to undertake the challenging task of managing the residential development of Saddle Key, an island located many miles off the coast of Belize.  Barges were used to transport all the necessary equipment, trucks and materials more than 19 miles off shore.  Take a look at some of the incredible photographs taken during the project. 

Saddle Key Development Project

The Placencia Lobsterfest is a grand celebration of the opening of the lobster season in Belize. The event is organized by the Placencia Village Council and the Placencia Chapter of the Belize Tourism Industry Association and attracts thousands of local and international visitors to the Placencia Peninsula.

For the first time in the history of the Lobsterfest that ran between June 28-30, 2013 in Placencia, A.L. Construction participated in the festivities. Our booth attracted lots of visitors because of the uniqueness of our products on display.

We went to the Placencia Lobsterfest!

Many developers,realtors,builders and cabinet makers were delighted to hear that A.L. Construction sells granite slabs and also does fabricating. Kitchen counter tops, vanities, bath surrounds…if granite goes on it, we do it! In the past customers had to buy and import granite from Mexico and the fabrication was done there as well. It was a please to see visitors' excitement that now,they can have it all done on their door step!

Another highlight for visitors to our booth was their absolute fascination by our mountain rock sinks. One visitor was perplexed and asked, ”how could you take a rock out of the mountain and make a sink?” We were proud to reply that A.L. Construction has very creative people on board with the expertise! The round tortilla boards(also called pastry boards) were also popular. Some visitors liked the granite chess boards so much, we thought they were going to start playing a game right on the spot. The big granite table included in our photo gallery sold within two hours of opening our booth opened, because it is such an unusually stunning sculptural piece. For those who loves flowers and plants inside the homes, we were able to offer beautiful granite vases in different sizes and colors.

The Placencia Lobesterfest was a huge success and we look forward to be part of the community and festivities again next year.
